North Sea expertise is highly valued in this region providing continued potential for specialist suppliers like TRAC”.

Award of North Sea Inspection Contract

We are pleased to announce that TRAC has recently been awarded a major North Sea offshore inspection contract with GL Noble Denton (now DNV GL). August 2013 saw Premier Oil award GL Noble Denton an asset integrity management contract for the provision of asset integrity advice and inspection services across Premier Oil’s UK operated assets.

The long-term multi-million pound contract will include inspection management, risk analysis, examination support and non-destructive testing to a range of production and processing facilities. TRAC was selected by GL Noble Denton to partner with them during the tendering phase of this project to deliver the offshore inspection and non-destructive testing elements, and subsequently were awarded a back-to-back agreement for these services.

Daniel Hawthorn, Managing Director of TRAC stated,

“We’re delighted to secure this important contract and look forward to working with GL Noble Denton to deliver for Premier Oil over the coming years. Asset integrity continues to be a major priority for North Sea operators and we’re looking forward to providing our efficient and innovative solutions to ensure the continued integrity and success of Premier Oil’s UK assets”.
