NATA accreditation for TRAC in Australia

TRAC Pty is delighted to announce that we have been successfully awarded NATA accreditation to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. In July we announced we had completed the audit, and since then we have been officially awarded the accreditation.

The NATA accreditation for 17025 is another key step as TRAC continues global growth and development plans. As well as holding UKAS ISO/IEC 17020 the NATA approval now allows us to work to recognised International and Australian standards and will open up more commercial opportunities locally.

The audit involved a technical and QMS assessment in which NATA carried out an extensive examination of TRAC processes, procedures, systems and documentation. Stuart Ley, Inspection Manager from TRAC’s headquarters in Aberdeen flew to assist with preparation. Stuart worked closely alongside Operations Coordinator, Daniel Lewis and TRAC’s Technical advisor Geoff Williams (both based in Perth) to prepare for the audit. Stuart commented on the success of the audit;

‘Successfully completing this audit demonstrates our commitment to the Australian market and shows that our existing systems are robust and yet again stand up to external review, examination and audit. We look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead and receiving our official NATA certification.’
