The TRAC Oil & Gas North of Scotland Open returns for the 4th year running. Looking back, it’s gratifying to see how far the tournament has come in terms of strength in depth of entry, in reputation on the PSA World Tour and in terms of engagement with the community. Boasting a magical one million confirmed media outreach in 2016, the stage is set for us to go bigger and better still. The TRAC Oil & Gas North of Scotland Open PSA M10 will run from Tuesday 28th March to Sunday 2nd April 2017 with two rounds of qualifying before the main draw commences as published further below. Up and coming Englishman Richie Fallows heads the main draw with India, Jamaica, Spain, New Zealand, Belgium, Malaysia and Pakistan all represented. The Press and Journal celebrated the North Sea Oil and Gas industry reliance at a Gold awards ceremony. The Gold awards recognise the companies and individuals who continue to forge a path ahead for the sector, despite varying headwinds. The awards comprised of 6 categories, 3 of which TRAC were finalists for. These being New Energy Award, Best employer and Small Company of the Year. This was a great achievement in its self to be placed within 3 of these categories. TRAC Oil & Gas won the Small Company of the Year award which was highlighted as the category that received the most applications (16) and handed out last. This award recognised the best small company, its commitment to people, its culture, the North Sea and the Aberdeen community. TRAC Oil & Gas is a Family owned business which was founded in 1999. TRAC Oil & Gas Ltd has won a new five-year contract with Plant Integrity Management Ltd (PIM). The contract will see PIM provide inspection management services on Nexen’s North Sea assets, including delivering integrity management services covering pressure systems, structures and pipelines. The offshore enactment services will be subcontracted by TRAC Oil & Gas Ltd. Securing contracts in these challenging times for the industry are critical, this five-year contract further support our growth plans for the UK, Australia and Brasil. TRAC is a leading provider of rope access inspection, repair and maintenance services to the Oil & Gas industry with extensive experience of working across a range of offshore and onshore assets worldwide.
TRAC O&G Ltd have been awarded the Chevron Inspection and Integrity Management Services contract for their UKCS assets. The contract is for a 3 year period with the option to extend a further 2 years, delivering potential revenues of up to £20M TRAC has a strong relationship with Chevron and have been supporting their assets over the past 13 years. A combination of experience, safety record and service delivery that achieve cost savings through innovative solutions has led to this award.
