Long Service Awards

As part of TRAC’s 15th Anniversary year festivities, awards were given to long serving employees.

To celebrate TRAC’s recent successes, 5, 10 and 15 year awards were presented to our staff for their contributions and achievements over the years. TRAC recognises the extensive knowledge our long term staff hold about the business as well as their skills and experience. We want to retain our staff members and their ability to move the company forward with it’s growth and development plans in 2015.

People have always been at the centre of TRAC and its values which include loyalty, achievement and personal development. Our recent ‘Investors in People’ accreditation also acknowledges TRAC to be a positive and enjoyable place to work where we get the best performance from both our office and field staff.

TRAC also gave contract service awards to technicians working long term on Chevron assets. Chevron is one of our longest standing customers and the technicians show dedication in delivering best in class performance. The whole team have developed real relationships with the client and the workscopes benefit from having the same dedicated technicians on the project. Our clients are always impressed with the competency of the technicians we supply on a regular basis and their willingness to work, assisting with various tasks beyond the workscope when requested.

Christmas Charities

Over the festive season, our staff raised around £700 for charitable causes.

The Giving Tree

TRAC, for the 7th year running has supported The Giving Tree Christmas toy appeal run by Instant Neighbour. The appeal delivers toys to children living in poverty in Aberdeen City and Shire.

Our staff gave generously with TRAC matching their donation. More than 6,000 gifts are donated each year by companies like TRAC, we bought many toys, games and gadgets to be given to appreciative families.

BINDT Table Top 2014

TRAC welcomed the opportunity of sponsoring the 2014 BINDT Table Top Exhibition. We had a significant presence with our capabilities clearly visible to all as we stood alongside BINDT during this two day event.

The exhibition allowed us to showcase our services as a leading rope access, inspection, repair and maintenance provider. We met with many of our customers and industry peers and placed particular focus on presenting our specialist and non-intrusive inspection capabilities including TOFD, Phased Array, Radiography and Automated Ultrasonic Corrosion Mapping.

As part of the extensive seminar programme, Bill Brown (Technical Manager and BINDT North East Branch secretary) delivered a presentation on NDT Training & Certification in the Oil & Gas industry – developments, which was well received by all and covered the development and implementation of recent in-service certification schemes.

Gordon Cook, TRAC Oil & Gas Operations Director, adds,

Rio Oil & Gas 2014

TRAC Petróleo e Gás LTDA, the Brasilian branch of TRAC Oil & Gas was pleased to exhibit at the 2014 Rio Oil & Gas exhibition, a significant biennial event with over 1000 exhibitors, focussed on the expanding Brasilian market.

Gordon Cook (Operations Director), Ruben Mateus (Brasil Operations Manager) and Leticia Buaiz (Legal Advisor) travelled to Rio for this event to highlight TRAC’s official business standing in Brasil, our services and innovations.  Maximising the excellent quality networking opportunities, technical discussions with customers, suppliers and partners.

TRAC was pleased to share stand space and showcase the joint ongoing relationship working on Petrobras assets with valued Brasilian customer EDRA, providers of Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) pipes and fittings.
